What to expect

The Community Center is open to the public from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
Senior Program hours run from 9am to 3pm. 

Participants must register in advance for programs, activities and use of the Senior Lounge.
Free programs require an active membership. Programs and activities are for West Sacramento seniors age 50 and older. Participants can register anytime online or in-person at the Community Center during program hours.

Senior Lounge
Available Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm.
Free for registered members. Everyone must register to use the lounge.

Join us for coffee and conversation or group games. Coffee Bar will include free regular or decaf coffee, specialized creamers, and all the fixings.
Bingo & Gaming

Bingo!

Thursdays 1pm to 2:45pm.
$5 per class for registered members. Register today!

Let’s play Bingo. A game of chance. We will supply the bingo cards. Bring a friend and double the fun. Must bring additional money for card purchase. Six cards maximum per game. (10 cents per card, or 6 cards for 50 cents). We do not have coin change so come prepared with change to play. Light snack provided. Please note all upcoming bingo special events will increase to $15 per participants starting in January 2024.

Brain Boosters

2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
No cost for registered members.

Just like physical exercise, your brain needs exercise too! Challenge your brain with mentally challenging activities such as trivia, memory games, crossword puzzles and other activities to keep your mind sharp. Activities are held in a group setting.

Hand and Foot Card Game

Wednesdays from 10am to 3pm
Free for registered members.

Hand and Foot is a card game in which the objective is to score points by melding clean red and black books. Space is limited.

MEXICAN DOMINOES

Mondays, 11 am to 1 pm.
Free to registered members.
Advance registration required.
The object of the game is for a player to play all the tiles from his or her hand onto one or more chains, or trains, emanating from a central hub or "station". The game's most popular name comes from a special optional train that belongs to all players. However, the game can be played without the Mexican train; such variants are generally called "private trains" or "domino trains".
